Case Study: AED 1.59M+ Revenue Growth for Esperia Volleyball Academy – Dubai

Esperia Volleyball Academy – a Dubai-based client, is a volleyball school with 10 locations in Dubai, offering professional training for kids, teens, and adults both indoors and on the beach. Their goals were to increase season enrollments and boost revenue through strategic digital campaigns.

The Challenge

The challenge was to Drive season-long enrollments for the autumn kids’ volleyball program.

The main problem:
Parents were reluctant to sign their kids up for volleyball during Dubai’s hot summer, even though the season actually starts in autumn. They didn’t know when the season would begin, so this needed to be clearly communicated in the ad campaign. On top of that, the account wasn’t prepared for the new season and contained a lot of outdated and irrelevant information about schedules, schools, and other details.

Initial Campaign Performance:
The messages we received were expensive: the average cost per request was AED 91 (August campaign).

The Solution

To solve the issue, we created teasers focusing on the early bird discount: parents who booked a spot for their kids in advance could pay less. By the way check out our Instagram marketing services.

This way, we motivated them not to postpone the decision to Autumn and make a booking in Summer
After the new teasers were launched, we managed to decrease the cost per message from AED 91 to AED 18.

Implementation & Optimization Process

To optimize the results, we launched campaigns with dynamic creatives for each of the 10 school locations.

The bullet points were straight to the point:
• Location and dates
• Free trial offer
• Discounts

Optimizing Conversion Rates:
However, many clients didn’t book lessons for a whole season after the free trial, so we collected audience data from the website and launched lookalike campaigns to increase the conversion rate to 52%.

Kids Campaign Results

In 3 months there were 65 new volleyball participants and they brought AED 220K revenue.

Winter Kids Camp Campaign

In December, we launched the campaign for our Winter Kids Camp. For parents, deciding to send their children to a volleyball camp for a few weeks without the option of a free trial is a significant decision. To address this, we implemented a more complex funnel focused on lead generation through our website.

The Funnel:
  1. Visit the website
  2. Fill out the form
  3. Sending the lead to CRM system
  4. Sales department lead processing and trial
  5. Booking

In two weeks, we received 23 requests, and 52% of them converted into bookings. As a result of the camp campaign, we generated a ROAS of 661% and achieved a fully packed kids camp.

Adult Volleyball Campaigns

Our next step was to launch campaigns for adult volleyball and court bookings. We created animations with new shooting materials and added catchy headlines:

  • "Dubai looking for a spot to have fun with friends?"
  • "Book free trial"
Lookalike audience, that we collected from website visitors, helped us receive messages for adult volleyball with the average cost AED 8!

We got 185 New Volleyball Club Participants and AED 1.59M+ Revenue

Why It Worked

The strategy worked because it directly addressed the main barrier: parents didn’t want to enroll their kids during the hot Dubai summer.

By introducing an early-bird discount, the campaign shifted the decision from “join now” to “secure a cheaper spot for autumn,” which made the offer more appealing and reduced the cost per message. Clear, practical messaging about location, dates, free trials, and discounts improved lead quality and engagement.

Campaigns were localized by school location and optimized with retargeting and lookalike audiences, which increased the trial-to-season conversion rate from 26% to 52%. As a result, the academy gained 185 new participants and generated over AED 1.59M in revenue.

Conclusion — a repeatable, data-driven acquisition engine that scales bookings and revenue

In short, we made a lead-generating machine that increases bookings and income using real data.

WGG's Instagram marketing plan helped TOPSTRETCHING turn their popular classes into online sales. We tested different ads based on location, used creatives in specific languages, tried ads on various platforms (Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat), and made retargeting/lookalike campaigns. This got us 1,629 leads at about AED 33 each. We then turned those leads into 199 trial bookings and 26 memberships. These campaigns brought in AED 42,290, proving the plan worked for both quantity and quality.

What really matters is that Arabic and AeroStretching ads got better responses, TikTok did better than Facebook at getting conversions, and retargeting lowered the cost per lead from around AED 30 to about AED 22. Basically, testing out different creative ideas, advertising on many platforms, and using retargeting got us leads that were cheaper and better.

So, what's next? We're going to focus on the ads and audiences that did well such as AeroStretching, Arabic ads, and targeting Palm Jumeirah and all of Dubai. We will also try to find similar audiences based on the best customers, and keep experimenting with new ad ideas and placements. We'll also add content marketing such as local short videos, trainer spotlights, and Instagram messaging to keep costs low and get more people to become members after their trials.

Basically, we developed a system that works: test a lot of things, find what works, quickly change your focus, and use retargeting and lookalike audiences to boost results. For TOPSTRETCHING, this resulted in more trial bookings and a clear way to get profitable memberships.
